Raymond Horner Jr.

I looked at this Pen & Ink drawing done by my husband Raymond Horner Jr. and began to reflect on what was happening in our lives when he created this drawing. He was very ill. Yet despite the almost dismal situation in  the 80’s while in the hospital he created this beautiful piece.

You need to know that this place called Peniel was where we got a spiritual rebirth the year after our marriage in in 1979. A place of peace and hope.  And the bottom line is when things get fuzzy and complicated like the trees in this picture we can choose to focus on the light that shines from the SON. That we can still dream. We can still hope.

What keeps you dreaming in the midst of the mess?

What are your dreams?

  1. Dreaming in the midst of my mess. Knowing that God can and he will gets me through it all.
He gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers..
