I just read a post from one of the busiest baby boomers I know about cooking roasted broccoli. Now this baby boomer, Heidi Caswell, is not a professional chef and does not cook for a living. But in her living she cooks for family and friends. I hope that made sense. You see, I know Heidi as an entrepreneur, super  blogger and blogging mechanic.

I say mechanic because if your blog is broke she helps you fix it. If you need blog training she will train you. And if you want to send a special card to a love one she will help you do that also. But in t he midst of her busyness she finds time to work her other passions.

So, take a few minutes to explore two of her blogs. The first one to grab her insights on roasting broccoli on her blog Boomer Empowerment.  And if you want to see some great videos and glean gems on the art of blogging visit WordPress101.

And if you want to make that very special connection that goes beyond the text send that special recipe to a friend in a card. Visit Connect Simply.

Now, I must say that Heidi did not endorse this message and I only decided to post about it on impulse and impression after seeing her Facebook post about the vegetables in her garden. I was actually in between a marathon posting on Ebay and looking at the post about the recipe was a true boomer break.

I guess what I am learning more  and more is that we must take time to explore our passions. And since I am a baby boomer I am not surprised.

  1. Thanks Rosie! Much appreciated.

Life would be no fun if we didn’t explore our passions. Now I’m wishing I’d picked up shrimp to make that roasted shrimp/broccoli dish.
